Love Volume 4: The Dinosaur - Frederic Brremaud Disclaimer: ARC via Netgalley. This has to be one of my favorite series in the whole world. It’s like watching Wild Kingdom or something. Bremaud and Bertolucci have chronicled a day in the life of a tiger, fox, and lion. In this volume, they tackle dinosaurs. Perhaps this why it doesn’t quite mesh the way the other volumes did. Don’t get me wrong. It’s not bad. The artwork is gorgeous. The plot is engrossing, but there is something a bit not quite as good as the others. Perhaps because the focus on the one animal doesn’t have the immediacy of the other stories. Perhaps because we know how dinosaur stories end up. Yet, even when Love isn’t quite as good, it sure is good. It’s not a let down by any means.
