I read the 1986 edition of this book.
It is a pretty good guide to the famous wax works. Nicely illustrated. It includes not only brief bios of some of the people, but also information about various sittings as well as about how the wax works are made, a history of the museum, and a brief bio of Madame Tussaud herself.
