Shakespearian Comedy - Malcolm Bradbury, D.J. Palmer Some interesting essays. Inga-Strina Eubank’s essay about Two Gentlemen of Verona is rather interesting because of a comparison to the sonnets. Stanley Wells’ essays is, as always, thought provoking and makes one wonder about Shakespeare and the audience. What did the Bard think about those he played to? It is also interesting, and refreshing, that Wells doesn’t count Bottom and Titantia as lovers.
