Sign me up for Jean Brash
These stories are supposedly based on the memoirs of a real Edinburgh detective. McLevy is assigned to the dark side of the city, and his primary foe, mate, girlfriend, love interest is Jean Brash who quite frankly is friggin awesome. Each episode runs about an hour. Cox does a good job in a detective who can't quite detect things in himself, but who is good nonetheless. The mysteries are interesting with a good balance of humor and darkness.
