More 2.5 stars for me.Berg can write. Her prose is rich. Her world building is great. She gives the right amount of detail. She starts the story in a good place.Sadly, I had trouble keeping people straight. I kept forgetting who was who, and Valen's style of telling the story can at times distance the reader.
